mounted the rings to fibreglass base with mdf packers, and got 2 way stretch fabric to stretch over and get the shape I want.

then laid on some fibreglass resin and fibreglass sheet (not chopped mat) for a neat finish.

well that's it for now- next up is building the other door trim, filling the speaker pods with body filler and lots of sanding to get a good finish ready for vinyl or flocking, then on to the boot build.

been working on the stereo build feverishly over the last few days. is slow going, but I am getting through it...

made a battery cover to neaten up that corner of the bay, and to have somewhere to mount the circuit breaker and distribution block.

Nice work Panda, I was going to do something similar with my doors but don't want to butcher the F6 trims so sussing out another set of stock trims to play with, same with pillar covers etc etc

Doing a full on stereo treatment does take a while, I just did mine with a bitsa of stuff lying around the workshop but played around with a couple of different ideas at the same time and it still took me 4 days to get the car back together lol

black leather with red trim, rims with red trim, red turbo badge- you get the theme.

the inside will be all black- even thinking about blacking th silver spears/ trims/ icc

black pillars and headlining too. red mood lighting.

here is one door done in red:

if I do the door trim buildouts red, ill prol do part of the a pillars red too. maybe the bottom half curved around the tweeters.

opinions please....

Black all the way, will help to make the speakers stand out and not the pods, nice job though panda :bravo: , did you paint or are you vinyl covering them? A leather covering would look good.

Black painting the ICC and spears is easy to do but keeping clean is hard, I painted mine a couple of years ago in silhouette black and within 20 minutes they were dusty as, I'd paint them same colour as the car if your doing it. Since I carbon wrapped my ICC and console I have since reverted back to paint and have done the console and ICC in the Oxidised Steel of the outside highlights of the F6 and did things like my gauge cups, door handle inserts, button switch and window switch surrounds in Breeze, I had a thought that the Breeze would be too over powering in the car and my mates and missus thought the same thing but in the end it does look good, I don't usually like it this way and neither do my mates and they would be the first ones to give me sh*t about it.
