Went out again and unfortunately track was no better than any other street meet.

Only managed a 11.00 @ a very impressive 134.56 MPH, 60 was 1.8 and mid track was 100MPH

Could only launch at 5psi, any more and it turned the tyres.

Not many cars tonight and got 6 runs

3 x 11.0's, 11,1,11.2 and a wheel spinning 11.3.

What tyres you running ?

Maybe you need some fresh tyres?

What pressures you running also?

How are you warming up the tyres? ie ( how long are your burnouts)

Nitto NT05R (10 - 12 passes)

22.5 psi on the 11.008 run.

Enough for smoke to engulf the car and enter through the cabin.

I have 60 footed 1.71 on the street meet after the test n tune when the track was very grippy but had other issues that day.

I do beleive that a 1.7XX will net me a 10 but I dont know why my half track is now at 99 - 100 when it used to be 100 - 101.

Could that just be down to the poor 60ft?

Run 1 (15/3/12)

ET 11.076

60ft 1.785

MPH 100.58

MPH 128.33

Run 2 (18/07/12)

ET 11.008

60ft 1.841

MPH 99.77

MPH 134.56

I've never used the Nittos radials, but with the MT streets the pressures should be between 15-18psi, each cars different so find a setup that works for you.

What size are the Nittos?

It could also be sign there on the way out too.
