LOL Id bring it back... Drop it out the front... Hand in the keys and say "you'll be hearing from my lawyer unless this is fixed immediately".

So now after hearing it again this morning when they thought it was fixed they have worked out the pump is no good but don't know when they can replace it as since its a " new model " they dont have the pump as a spare part yet.

hey, I had this problem on a track day, the ute had about 26000ks on it and towards the end of the day the small whirring noise got worse very fast, took it to ford and they fixed it.

surely at a minimum they will fix that with out and any complaints.

We had a fg2 brand spankers like 10km if that on the clock and the pump was stuffed, we ripped a pump off another brand new mk2 and sent the customer happiy on their way that avo and had a new pump within a week... It is listed but may be on back order

Bionic that's great customer service . They have had the ute for 4 working days now and still no resolve. The parts for the rear end are meant to be here today but still no word on when the power steering pump will turn up.

So still no parts have turned up for the rear end and apparently no power steering pumps in the country ... this is turning into a joke ... And no they wont take a pump of another new vehicle to replace it.

So yesterday a new power steering pump mysteriously turned up and they fitted the whole new rear end. Service manager said car was all done and tested and ready to go. Thought I'd go for a drive with the manager before I left to make sure it was all good, and of course the new diff is really noisy, especially when decelerating from 110-80 and then from 60-40. Workshop foreman came for a drive and he agreed that it wasn't right and wasn't sure what problem was as the diff came brand new from Dana. So now waiting to see what will happen next
