As I bought this car second hand I really dont know what the history is. Now its coming on 3y/o the coolant needs changing.

Was the factory coolant yellow for some time in the FG or has this been definately replaced, or was it green and gone yellow? Picture attached.

Is it ok maintained at higher temps?

Just wondering because it doesn't seem to have much extra temp margin.

From the link:

Recommended temperature range:

Closed System: -29°C (-20°F) to 80°C (176°F)

From wikipedia:

With proper antifreeze a wide temperature range can be tolerated by the engine coolant, such as −34 °F (−37 °C) to +265 °F (129 °C) for 50% (by volume) propylene glycol diluted with water and a 15 psi pressurized coolant system

Where/who did you get this from and how much. Is it meant for engines or are you just using it.

Honestly mate, if you don't want too much to worry/think about just get yourself a Tectalloy 90 or 100 plus coolant. They are quality and available at any automotive place I.e. "Supercheap auto" "Repco" ete etc. You will require 2 X 5Ltr Bottles of coolant and a 2Ltr deminerlised water for a full flush/clean/replace. Will be a noiticeable difference! Yes Tectalloy is designed for the Aussie Falcon.

hey buds ive been using this for some time now,I first used it on my 383ci hi comp stroker, noticed it was getting a lil hot even with an alloy rad,so I bought a few bottles and didnt have any dramas..I contacted them direct through email, then got it sent from there office in california..pretty quick and easy using paypal?

as for using it on my F6,I spoke to them via email and told them the specs of my car in which they replied that as they have other options available this my the best of the best..? in saying that 601turbz has a point coz ive heard that that brand is good aswell, plus you can buy it from oz with no dramas..really up to you mate! my 2c!
