The front speakers are splits that run a little crossover. Similar to aftermarket component speakers.

Running a line out converter in the passengers kick panel. Ran rca's down the rear for speakers and sub but atm only running a monoblock class d (I think) alpine and a second hand pioneer sub. The sub is aging and lets it down but its enough for now. Got rca's run up to the rear ready for an amp and speakers but probably wont do it.The amp is mounted a bit trick, on some mdf and bolted upside down under the parcel shelf with the carpet cut out perfectly to just see the amp and no wiring or mdf. Sub box is just the right height and fits neatly between amp/back seat. Doesnt nove a cm!Next car I get ill be doing a full stereo upgrade and dynamat etc. Burger with the lot pretty much

Mine doesn't so I'll have to mount an amp and use the rear speakers for input. :/I swapped the fronts for Kicker splits ($180 from ryda.com.au) and mounted the tweeters in the doors, which actually made a massive difference over the factory cardboard speakers.I'll swap the rears to Kicker non splits ($80) and add the sub which will be fine I think, I don't crank music these days anyway.Better late then never... yeh mate mind has the premo sound but I threw the 8" in the bin, the rest is still factory. What would happen if ya fitted another HU and ran new speaker wires to your existing (or upgraded) speakers fed from an amp splicing into the cables that are already coming from your factory icc. Bare with me... would you be able to run either the icc unit or your aftermarket head unit? This way if the misses jumps in she could use the factory setup thereabouts and I could use the aftermarket setup.May need to reword that, probably doesn't make any sense..
