Changing to black helped a lot with heat reduction too, remember that. Or was it heat retention? Hmmm.

Probably close to 300.

I got 271 with injectors and tune. Might get another 20 or so out of the cat back, but be better off putting in a hi-flow cat and exhaust, should easily see 300 for a run or two before heatsoak kicks in on your stock (if it is) cooler

Oh just realised yours is an FG, mine was a BF so not sure the affects on the FG. Does come with more wasps but smaller huffer makes gains a bit harder after a certain point.

Yep, around 250rwkw, less traction and better economy.

Injectors are your 1st restriction, so if you can afford them chuck them in too.

Okray im intrigued, what sorta economy increases are we talking???

Also how much for injectors and tune?

What sort of injectors are best for fg xr6t, manual.

With a tune only, you will get better economy (maybe 15%?) because Ford run the motors quite rich from factory. They do this because it reduces the emissions for the environmental tests, helps with cooling the engine and because it is safer to run the car rich than to run it lean. Simply by leaning out the tune (which causes the engine to run slightly hotter and emmissions to increase) the tuner can reduce fuel usage.
