Try to stretch for injectors and tune if it's got the good valve springs maybe? A good starting point.

Who has done tune only here, what restricted you first (exhaust/injs/valve springs) and how much did you pick up?

Steve,

When I bought my car it had essentially a tune only. Had a cat-back manta exhaust and an SS growler.

Went to bout 238rwk from memory. A huge improvement over the 180rwkw odd seen in most stock BA's.

It was the injectors that killed me. They began to lean out towards red-line so I just have run her stock ever since...

Depending on the model spoken, you can get better gains over a tune only for only a little bit more. Best to have a power goal figure and/or a budget in mind. But if you are content with a tune only, providing you go to a good tuner, it will be a different car. I miss the power :(

its a 2009 fg, well that's what the paper says...I got it for 24,000 its done just over 100,000 mark... I dont really wana mess with the cat and converters etc becasue I had bad experience in the past with my mazda sp23 (o2 sensors and engine light always on ).. basically I would like to get a lil more torq....and just a lil deeper sound from the exhaust

budget around 600 ?
