Just because mine was knackered.

 

Its a good idea to replace the seals if the car is getting a bit old and the rubber is starting to perish.

 

Went to get the ones from ebay above. Would have had to wait 3 business days for them to be black, and he had a red set ready to go, so I went and picked them up yesterday. Will either fit them today or tomorrow, depending on what I get up to. :)

They are cheap enough to do as a maintenance item and may be listed as such for some vehicles but for how long they last ie: 15+ years depending on conditions it's probably only worth fixing them when they're farked. With regular brake fluid flushes they should last a very long time.

 

Edit: At least the new calipers match the car plus red gives 25 rwkw out the box!

I wanted A1RM's but NS400 were in stock, so I got those haha. Once I fit the new calipers I'll test out the 400's.
