Maybe change the gear boot to a cream leather one and it would look better?? Did you put cv grease on the gear knob too see what black would look like? Got a bit done todayTrimmed the inner tub lip and hammed the lip Flat. Should allow for 295 wide rubber hopefully. (Pic pre paint) Shocks installed with new bushes Put the tub back on then started on this fuel system. Ran a few lines then called time for a beer. Hopefully get it finished up this week. The urge for a skid is strengthening

Wires n fuel lines all ran. Nutserted all the bolts that hold the tub liner in and hardlid on for a neater finish. Have some nice stainless eyelets go in there for easier load restraint. Pro tip- when making a cheap nutsert tool make sure you don't use a sharp bit of steel haha. Almost spent my arvo at the doctors. Hopefuly have it finished tomorrow fingers crossed

Finished up all the wiring. Both the 044 and the walbro intank now have there own relays triggered from the stock pump wiring (inertia/roll-over switch will shut pumps off still). Going to put a cover over the relays eventually by won't really matter once the hardlid goes on. Gave it a much needed wash. Had 1 minor f*ck up. I was wondering why the Ute wasnt idling and 044 was making bulk noise and stuttering. After much confusion I ended up having the feed/return lines back to front on the chassis rails. So swapped em round and hooked it all back up and it ran perfect.Deleted the stock filter so now it just has the earls one in the tray. Used a male and a female 5/16th hardline adaptor. And most importantly took it for a spin! Been atleast a month since its seen boost. The shocks are much nicer now softened up. The swaybar makes a noticeable different, feels much more positive.Tramp rods work mint. No binding noises. No skids yet but gave it a stab in second and it just lit them up with no tramp what so ever. Beer time

Its been leaking from the top of the hat, never dripping in the driveway but always wet with oil over so I'm assuming its coming from the top while I drive. Any suggestions on gasket goop? new oil? additives? cleaning out the diff? what to check for while I'm there?

They also make a special green one designed just for diffs. That's not bad if you can find it. Have that on mine and not a drop spilled. Just give it time to cure before you shove oil in there. While your under there check your diff breather hose isn't cracked/blocked. Take the Ute for a drive before your drain the diff to get it nice n hot so all the old oil comes out. No need for additives if you use a decent premium synthetic oil. The penrite stuff below is pretty good for a stock diff. While the covers off you may aswell check for wear on the crown (missing teeth or uneven wear)
