Nah, badges stay on johnny... it was probably just road grime or road tar that baked on over the years.

Didn't get time to polish it up, but completed a huge majority of the work of getting those little stubborn farkers off the car... takes pushing a flathead screwdriver behind 8 layers of folded cloth to get the right amount of pressure to get 'em off without scratching the paint... painful process and took a long time to get them off.

There's still tons of tiny tiny ones that just won't come off unless they're scratched off, so they stay.

Tar remover should dissolve them nicely, if that's what they are.

I have hundreds on my car.  Probably a few thousand.  Mainly below the rubber strips and on the rear.  Bug guts go on the front and mirror scalps :)

Today's jobs were/are

Flush and bleed brakes

Change Diff oil

Drain, fill and bleed power steering

And finally install my big derale trans cooler and fan, hook up my trans gauge, filter and gasket, and full dry fill of the trans.

Spending more time today on my back than a hooker, I need a hoist.
