Can someone give me a heads up where the oil screen is for the turbo line? Ie is it in the adaptor that the oil feed and oil pressure switch are installed into? Or is in the block itself where the adaptor goes?

My mechanic fitted an earl's kit when my turbo went bang last year due to blocked oil feed line. I asked afterwards if he had removed the screen also and he paused and nodded on a way that suggested "I'm almost certain I probably did that".

Doing an oil change and a few little tidy ups tonight,so will check it out to make sure. Because I'm looking for something that might not be there, I want to be certain about where it should be.

Thanks!

It's in the banjo bolt that screws into the passenger side of the engine, near where the circular end of the oil line is wrapped around the banjo bolt.  It's small and circular.

Haha! Sounds like he left it in there. Don't be a ham fisted idiot like me and snap the banjo bolt, it's sh*tty metal from memory and I snapped it with very little force

To not snap the bolt? you'd hope they'd replace it if they did something like that at Ford haha

If you mean "remove the screen" then if Ford installed your oil line, it's likely they left the screen in the banjo bolt as it's a tricky and time-consuming process to remove it :)
