Best way to learn

You need 2x 22mm spanners, or large shifters, or 1 and a bench vice, and a 15mm spanner. Hold the filter still and crack the 2 15mm fittings on the oil lines. If you have let the car sit for a bit there should be no oil in the lines. The screen is in the end that the arrow points to. Put it in the vice or use 2 spanners to get it open. Handy tip, once you have one oil line off put your finger over the end of the filter so when you take the filter out oil doesnt drip erry where. Or just keep it level.

what do you do with used petrol? build it up and go to the tip?

do you use wd40 when doing boost solenoid/hoses? with long nose pliers?

I put it in the mower.....she runs a bit smokey...

yeh I know lol....I live in a rental so another dumb question: does petrol go down outdoor drains without damage? would it kill grass?

lol.....I do neither of those things. So looks like stockpiling in a container and taking to dump would be my only option. either that or sneaky dump near grassy area next to freeway.

Stockpiling lol you're literally talking about a hundred mL of fuel from cleaning your oil filter aren't you?

If you threw it on your concrete slab it would evaporate in seconds

Btw don't do that it you don't want a bit of an oil stain from the crap you cleaned out

Lol put it in mums car or something? I keep 98 in a jerry (coz racing mower) so a little bit of oil will only knock it down a few points. In a whole tank of fuel? Dunno probably negligible. Cant be any worse than what it sucks in through the pcv circuit.
