I wouldn't rush out and drop 5w30 in unless you have a reason to. Im running a built motor don't forget.*I actually run a blend of two GW oils now. A 10w40 and 5w30. Give me the best mix between stable oil pressure in 40*+ and minimal noise as the forgies warm up.I based my ratio on a target kinematic viscosity when cold and hot so took a couple of goes to get correct. I once tried 5w50 full syn in my supercharged AU back in 2000 and dropped the oil out after 20mins driving around Sydney to put my Penrite 15w40 back in! I was showing also as it was expensive back then...
