Yep, I grabbed another 6lt from Supercheap when the special was on. I was going to dump the same oil that's in the turbo now 6k km's but previous oil was very black so I was going to dump, fill, add flush and dump again after a quick run around town (15mins) when it was hot and add the fresh stuff! Would this be appropriate to get the insides clean or am I better off buying any Diesel engine oil like some have mentioned?

I have 10lt's of Royal Purple but cant being myself to use it yet as it's fcking expensive, and I'm afraid if I use it I'll stick to it again which will kill my pocket... Lol

How many kms do you do between intervals MattyP?

Is this new stuff just the usual full synth 10W-40 Nulon?

I've been using it for 40,000kms....can't say I've noticed any difference or whether its even working good (Fraud do a 6 month/10k service...and I keep forgetting to ask if they see much deposits after they do the oil flush stuff).

This interval is 8k

I usually do it every 7.5 but I was lazy

Yum royal purple! How much was it? If your going to only do a flush for 15mins run whatever you want. I believe there is castrol gtx on sale atm that is probably adequate for a few kms

I got the RP from Supercheap when they had either the 30 or 40% off so I couldn't resist as it's $99 for the 5lt normally! If I can get it for the same price again then I'll buy one more 5lt for two changes plus some...

I used RP for years, stopped once the AUD tanked and it became far too expensive. I started using Penrite Racing (very good) and now use Gulf Western (also very good)

Apart from Price I cannot pick a difference.
