Well done mate, I think it's a good choice

Plenty of life ahead to get expensive cars again

Having a full bank account is also a very nice feeling

Yeah, I don't regret the choices at all JET. I feel much more at ease and can start saving hardcore as of right now.

Still got a nice enough car to drive around in and it's in the shop this break while I'm away getting a stereo fitted so I'll still have all the connectivity and music sh*t my VF had (but a sh*te load better quality!)...so should keep me happy enough putting around town for a few years while I save as much money as possible and owe no-one a damn thing!

My friend had one of them. Nice inside and smooth engine. Was quiet and pleasant to drive, perfect daily imo. And the fuel economy was awesome you'll probably use half what the v8 did

Bogan speced the territory last night with a Supercheap pod filter. I fitted it so that I can figure out how the fck I need to mount the battery bracket in place of the standard air box so I can then fit the 4in intake in the batteries original location...

I was lucky to take a day off work to get some work done with my mechanic mate.

Replaced my manifold with one I had ceramic coated, and added inconel studs

Also, removed a broken bolt from the dump pipe hanger bracket.

Replaced engine mounts with Technico ones.

I used Stage 8 locking fasteners on the turbo flange

I also put the stock swaybar back in the rear with some new swaybar links (the wholesale suspension revised type). Today I adjusted the front whiteline swaybar to the stiffer setting (I forget what size bar it is, its NOT the thickest v8 one). Driving it home the car felt really nice, and had the added bonus of the ceramic coating smelling, well, really smelly.

DO WANT locking fasteners etc on turbo/exhaust area! I'm sick of tightening things and have become lazy about it now which is not good...

Fixed the handbrake and spun the wheels.

Steve, make a few of these.
