Spent a couple of hours today with the G6ET.

Full wash, dry, clay bar/detail/polish and wax. Came up an absolute treat! Unfortunately, I have the worst phone known to man, so these pictures don't do the finish any justice... (2nd pic is a pure reflection)

Can't recommend a clay bar/polish/wax enough. Feels like glass and looks like a mirror :spoton:

Hey RB,

I washed the car down at the local car-wash - High pressure soap/rinse, wash, rinse, spot free rinse, 100+Kmp/h = nice and clean (And dry) :spoton:

I bought a Mothers clay bar kit ($29.90 on sale at repco and supercheap until early next week) - 2 clay bars, microfibre cloth and a detailing/lubricating spray which doubles as a polish - 'For use between washing and waxing' so it kills 2 birds with one stone. Next big clean, I'll polish with my Meguiers dark-colour vehicle, wet look crystal polish before the wax

Then I used some liquid wax I had lying around, can't remember brand now sorry, but it came up really well. Would recommend a liquid wax - really convenient and easy to use.

The clay bar makes the paint look like a mirror and literally feel like glass. Amazing how crap the finish was before I used it... In short, Good wash, dry, clay bar, polish and wax - I'm a big fan of Mother's and Mcguiers gear so you can't go wrong :spoton:

We should have a forum detailing day in the future - Always up for a show-car clean vehicle.

Cheers,

Dan

Found this bolt next to the ute, where it gets parked.

Looks similar to the intake manifold bolts but none are missing.

Any ideas?

what size is the bolt.
