I like the quality of the hose, I think the thickness is the issue, Because the hose it so robust the clamp struggles to pinch down hard. But I do feel the bead are too small. Imn not using the supplied clamps so Im wondering it Nizpro spec'd then as they are thinner and possibly bite harder into the hose?

Either way I'll be dragging Ye Olde Tig Welding machine tomorrow to apply a bead to the bead!

Worst part is right after it popped I hit the peak boost recall on my Eboost......14.2 psi........

Luke, just checked ours, I have used the tridon clamps which arnt as thick as the ones you have used. The bulge in the hose at the joiner is quite pronounced so I would say its a nice lip, maybe yours is less. I have to admit when I used those wide clamps I blew a few hoses as well. I thick the width spreads the load to much and doesnt create a pinch point.

The hose clamp needs to be past the raised lip, then it cant slide past.

My kit was supplied with norma clamps. The first clamp I tried failed before it was tight enough to compress the hose.

I'll put the pipe in my press tomorrow and see if I can encourage the beads to grow.

If not Welds it is.

Maybe try these. I was wrong , my clamps are norma stainless. I bought a few packs of 10 and at least 1 in 10 was crap , SO maybe you had a dud.

Norma = junk

We use BREEZE clamps very expensive for what they are but u can rattle gun them up extremely tight no worries

We sorted that join then it worked its self up to the turbo outlet where nizz use the step up to next joiner and that becomes the next PITA

Yes as they similar in style But You realise they are a massive step above though

Also tridon are chit

We went over any style clamp u can think of and breeze "brand" were miles in front

With a few ideas from Ralph, I made up a jig I can use to adjust camber and wheel alignment .

All up it cost me a little more than a decent wheel alignment.

I already had one laser level, ideally 2 the same would be better.vehaqe2y.jpg

Had to make up some spacers so the level sits flush against the rim.

Just used a quick clamp to hold it on the wheel.

Adjusted camber to 1 degree (90-1=89)

Then using the bubble got the laser level for wheel alignment.egapa8yt.jpg

And made up this jig out of scrap timber to shine the dots on.

This book I've had for about 25 years is still relevant and shows how they did it in the olden days.yra2uzy5.jpg

You can also check the rear wheel camber and alignment as well as squareness etc.

I've always done a lot of this stuff myself as good wheel aligners are hard to find.
