Put a new battery in it.

Optima yellow top. Had to cut the ends off on the PW battery tray and file the plastic ribs on the sides of the battery to fit it in.

But it actually wants to start now and locks properly :)

Hey old boy whats the interior like in your honest opinion ?

It looks like the ss , is it ?

Whats the power like concidering its N/A and stock ?

Interior far superior to the fords. Bogan special Redline, Power is about 260rwkw after tune on P100 Nice and torquey and has a nice V8 note. With all the fancy features I am starting to really like driving it.

Power is down, but nothing a supercharger wont fix.

Yep seriously thinking about jumping ship to the VF R8 SV, infact almost a done deal in my mind

Over power and want something nice sounding maybe with a small cam, but the initial feel from sitting in the drivers seat is amazing and features leaves the ford miles away

I put some leather seats in my car I picked up from the wreckers. Front+Rear, Door Skins + centre control lid. Had to clean them up a bit, looks like the passenger seat had a coke spill that was left to set. Came up really well, awesome upgrade. I found it easy enough to do myself.

The driver seat had a bit of play in it after I fitted it, so I pulled it back out, and swapped my old base with the leather base and put back in, not more play, didn't investigate much. Seem to be movement allowed by one of the motors.

What do the electrics do that plug into the passenger seat? Is it some sort of occupancy sensor? I tried seating there after putting the leather in without doing the seat belt up and it didn't chime or anything, can't remember if it did before. I'm mainly concerned it wont deploy the airbag if it doesn't know someone is there.

Did your original seats have airbags? If so and the leather seats have them too you will be fine.

If your originals didnt have them but the new ones do, you will at least need to see ford in order to 'turn them on' in the computer, perhaps even upgrade the bcm.

And lastly if you had seat airbags but now dont you will get a airbag light on the dash all the time. This option could also affect your insurance and roadworthy.
