Pascal (1 newton of force per square metre) is the SI unit for the metric measurement of pressure.

But you're right on the fact that PSI is an imperial unit. We use it as it's a more relatable figure, I suppose... keeping it in single digits keeps it relevant/simple for comparisons.

Would bar not do a better job of keeping it in single digits than psi?

Bar would end up in lots of comparisons of decimal numbers, when it comes to relatively low pressures such as those being forced into our cars :-)

Pulled my Intercooler out again and gave it a popper polish with sand paper and metal polish. Come up awesome, contemplating cutting the grill out but not sure yet post-74700-139842379446_thumb.jpgpost-74700-139842380543_thumb.jpg

What's with with the shoe in the engine bay?

Those tyres look huge. When are they going on your car?

Shoe holding up the inlet manifold. needs to come off to get plug access.

Invo for F6. KU31s for my daily VE wagon. About to get some 285/30/19 invo for the rear of F6

KU31 tyres are a large carcass

so your F6, which probably has more power, is getting skinnier tyres than your daily VE?

seems 295 width tyres (going by your ruler measurement), are going on your VE? just seems wrong... lol
