Washed the car for the first time since putting on the new pads/rotors a couple of weeks ago.

Now I know what people mean when they say the pads are dusty lol - hopefully it gets better once bedded in properly.

It won't. MUAHAHA

Treasurehunt - booooo hisssss. Hope you get a good price for it at least dude.

Not so much what I did as what Ralph did, but:

Before (ok maybe not quite so bad before removal hahaha)

After

Car now feels much better under power exiting corners. Was getting quite upset in the rear end if driven spiritedly. These are the control blade bushes which basically push the entire chassis forward, so I'm told. Full on that these things take so much power!

Also made sure not to crop out his shoes.

How good do these make the rear feel if you're giving it stick out of a corner Steve!

Much better yeah, I'm pretty happy with them. Downside is they stopped me getting the rear springs out though! So tight now they held the rear arms up too much and I couldn't put the new spring seats in despite the springs being lower than stock and me being able to fit them myself 10 months ago... :( Ran out of time and light, you win this round old bushes.

I received my new billet oil cap today from taipan motorsport
I had heard about a few dramas with the standard one breaking and I had the screw fitting on my oil breather hose snap so I bought one straight away
It's billet aluminium and it is black and it looks standard so I am very happy post-50206-139037713371_thumb.jpgpost-50206-139037715604_thumb.jpg

How much (if you don't mind me asking) - is it ebay or a brick/mortar store (haven't heard of them).

Link for any interested?

It was from an online store
It was $40 and it was the cheapest option I could find
I originally ordered a rip off TRD one with the intention of ripping the sticker off but it turned out to be the wrong size and I couldn't find one to fit
Here is the link
http://www.taipanmotorsport.com.au/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=37&category_id=4&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=60&vmcchk=1&Itemid=60
