Can you link the kit you got? Had no idea a hardline to AN adaptor existed lol, makes sense though. There's AN adaptors for pretty much everything these days 😋

@Tom Tucker nvm I've found the one you used I'm pretty sure! Custom Alloy welding billet lower thermostat?

Of course the AN hardline adaptor is just a typical olive-compression type arrangement, so obvious hahaha

Also, replaced the lost titanium nut and washer last night courtesy of Ebisu, got a single stud kit, M10x1.5 and comes with a locking nut! All metal, not nylon.

Wish I'd done more research before I purchased from Empire Elite. A set of 12 of these studs from Ebisu would have been cheaper than the kit from Empire, and they are locking. Not to mention they are 100% identical, so you're getting the same thing (from the same manufacturer I bet too) for less. I'll look at replacing all the nuts for these locking types as time goes on.

I really need to start on the battery relo next, instead of thinking about it constantly 🤣

Replaced the shagged trans mount and cradle (had cracked!) and engine mounts. RHS engine mount bolt that connects it to the engine mount bracket really didn't want to come out nice. Resistance the whole way with metal shavings coming out along with it. Didn't go in happy either. Have driven about 100kms since and all appears in order, but its in the back of my mind and I want to replace the bracket... Still pondering how on earth I can do that without removing half the sh*t around it, like the turbo, manifold, dump pipe... This sounds awfully sh*t

Bolts to the block are loctite'd too fml

Some aftermarket engine mounts have a different thread than stock for some dickheaded reason. Happened to me once but I stopped when it bound up and found another nut.

I'm actually talking about this bad boy, its what you bolt the engine mount to. That main thread at the top is what I think is cooked😞

4 bolts hold it to the block with loctite
As for the engine mounts themselves, all genuine ford stuff, fits well as you'd expect. And made a huge difference to the nvh of the car. Such a big difference

Ahh gotcha, haha I had a look in the shed for you and I have a left mount, can't find a right one but that's not to say there isn't one. I wouldn't worry about the mount for now, if it's in there it'll stay there, even if the thread is stuffed. It'll be the next time you replace it, it'll need doing.

These are cheap

Thanks for looking mate! Just placed an order for the bracket. Brand new, express shipping, genuine, $55. Even if I never need to use it, I'm happy I have it on hand.

When I did the mounts I ended up jacking up the motor from where the bell housing meets the block, because I don't have an engine crane or one of them things. But if I was to do it again I think I'd invest in that. Jacking up the engine is scary business 🤣

Next on the list, happening some time in the future, battery relo to the boot. bought the battery tray and lined it up in the boot, will fit real nice in the left corner :)

I want to finish my electronics projects first though lol

A few weeks ago I dropped the rear end of my brothers Territory turbo and replaced every single bush with Superpro bushes. Today was the front ends turn. That 3rd drivers side diff bush was an absolute *beep* of a thing to get to even with the engine jacked up, engine oil filter removed and the steering rack unbolted. Got there in the end. Does anybody know what the purpose of the concave washer that bolts on top of it is?

While there we replaced the engine mounts with newbies as well. Just need to replace the shot steering rack boots and replace the diff oil, probably hasn't been done once in it's 212km life.

I need to do all of that with my NA territory, I doubt the diff oil has ever been done in it either. Washers are used on shocks to prevent them from falling out or pulling through. I haven't looked at the diff washer but it might be for the same purpose.
