Threw in some 1000cc injectors and 460 walbro a couple of weeks ago and saw my VE table trims fall around 10%-15% at idle/cruise. Going off the common talk on here that the 460 is too much pump for the stock fuel regulator at idle I ordered a GFB regulator that arrived a couple of days ago AAANNNDDD after putting half a tank of fuel through it the new trims don't obviously show that fuel pressures were spiking with the stock regulator.

Fuel return line was squirting straight into the tank during all this as I had to cut the corrugated line when fitting the pump and am waiting on a replacement, so I presume the stock regulator was able to flow a little bit better because of this.

Also tracked and patched a wiring issue that meant the boost controller wasn't working and I was only getting 7 pound for the last 2 months. Ridiculous how much difference a 3 pound boost in boost makes.

That would be 30 to 40 rwkw at the boost level. You probably went from 210rwkw to 250rwkw.

My Haltech flex fuel sensor died. So I swapped it out today. sh*t job. The same part number has two different versions that mount differently. Of course the replacement was different, so had to muck around remounting it on the chassis rail, with e85 spilling everywhere. Sorted now though 👌

Every now and then the tyres would rub on the bit of the inner guard liner on the front as previously modified here -> https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/96768-tsw-bathurst-on-ba-xr6t-f20x930r20x1040/?do=findComment&comment=1713666.

Decided to cut some more away because why not :P haven't had a rub like that since; always good to solve a minor concern. Just left barely enough to stick behind the rolled guard lip so it doesn't fall out :P
