Yeh mate only the best otherwise it’ll leak

key is prep prep and more prep !

File finish the cover for best results as the grain will help the bonding process and be creative with how you bolt it back down as its a cover that’s being pulled x2 ways ;)

this tube will typically run you $100 but thems the brakes !!

I try, and when I get my breath back I try again ;)

This is Factory Toyota special grade (5699) and Toyotas just don’t leak ( Typically ) where we all know whatever junk ford used was shocking at sealng the cover

Hot tip is give as many days to dry as possible like any good sealant would require before entering oil to the sealed areas.

There is alot of “need to knows” when it comes to doing anything automotive and good information can be scares.

There is a procedure to getting the timing cover right and dont go bananas with the loctite as you can get some on the CAS pickup and cause all sorts of issues

Loctite placement is also crucial on the cover as is amount and application method..... the caulking gun gives control on this vs squeeze packs but I’m sure you’ll get it done with a squeeze pack especially if not needing the loctite again later
