Just picked up one of these so I can finish the job tonight faster. My line fittings should arrive today. Figured I'll probably service it every couple of years or so, plus the Kluger needs about 16 diffs and trans done every couple of years so about to buy a drum if that stuff too.

Trans tune and slight timing adjustment for the territory. It shifts fast and firm but not tyre chirping firm. Lol I'm not game to tune it to stall up yet as I cbf fixing the box if it snaps a shaft.

I kinda forgot how much the turbo fords transform when you turn them up a little bit and it's all the more ridiculous in a 2 tonne 4x4. :wwww:

Awd launch at 7k into drive

Do it:turboboink:

When you say tune the box, do you just change the rpm it shifts into? Or the speed it changes gears

All I did was change how fast it shifts and the hydraulic shifting pressure. I probably will set up the shift points in the number 27 shift map eventually for consistent drag times, but apart from that I'm not too fussed with it. The shift points are already pretty good in stock form.

It doesn't really have enough power to warrant much of a tune on the trans.

I'm tuning with hp tuners as I have spare credits.

I can remove torque restrictions in the pcm so I can stall it up without the throttle closing.

You can't change the stall speed though as this is determined by engine torque and converter size. To be pedantic, you could cap it lower with the torque management but can't raise it further than the parts will go.
