It appears to be mid to high 300s when comparing it to some other youtube runs. It's at 17psi or so. One thing that is noticeable and I spose was to be expected is how it takes off from a dead stop. It is more responsive.

Obviously it is a mix of bf and fg parts to make it fit and work properly but apart from that I just used the turbo exhaust valves, spec 2 plaz valve springs with stock retainers and arp head studs. I used a single layer metal head gasket. Edited 09/01/18 09:10 AM by Puffwagon Specified which valves.

I spose the pistons could be modified but I just wanted to keep it cheap and easy for now. I'll build a better low comp motor next year I reckon, depending on how this one holds up. One of the main benefits from doing it this way is the better condition parts that came with the motor. I don't think I could have bought the parts that needed replacing for less than the cost of the motor. My bf cams were rooted and the fg ones are good, my old timing gear was farked with bits missing from the chain guides and the idler pulleys/tensioner etc were stuffed too. The upper half of the rod bearings in the bf motor were nearly toast and although I didn't inspect it I'm sure that I ended up with a better condition oil pump. Even the lifter galleries in the head were tighter. The whole motor was clean as a whistle compared to the brown crap that was in the bf motor.
