It's just one more thing to add to the neverending list of car maintenance. Speaking of which, those ball joints that I fitted a while ago with the blue dust covers have split already. It'll be genuine next time I think.

Does the Walbro just sit in there with the rubber friction? The new filter does not have a clip up dohicky like the old one.Now I gotta try find a replacement fuel hose before the shops shut. I adjusted the piece of hose to get the pump height right. I also left the return hose alone so I didn't have to replace it. That's in a sedan though and that's the way I wanted to do it. I don't know if the ute is the same.

Fuel rated with the same pvc coating inside & out. Might have to order the proper stuff & come back to replace it another day.& I'm sorta hoping that black is negative & grey is positive with the wiring ? I normally have everything prepared before I do a mod but with the forums down exactly when I was organising its all gone to sh*t lolGot a link on where I can buy it?Also got a quote back today which I thought was a bit steep. How much Labor is involved installing oil pump gears, valve springs, Cams, & head studs?
