Had a look at the crow website very well priced. Although I did see they specifically note some cams are for turbo, And the rest I assume are designed for N/A? Wouldn't mind there stage 4 cam.

I'm thinking I gotta get some cams now, always wanted that sound from the car. Not like the utes that practical anyway. Well I raised the front a little so it doesn't scrape too much yesterday so maybe slightly more practical than last week lol.

Should have the zorst sorted out next Saturday and the tailshaft sometime between now and then. Then it's off to CMS for a proper tune and maybe a set of cams.

Want cams? Install a Haltech and Ghost cam the sh*t out of it...

Pulled the tailshaft out, bolted up a new diff yoke and measured up for a new tailshaft from Gibson.

If anyone wants a free tailshaft for a manual 6 speed ute pm me.

I pulled number 6 piston and rod out today. It looks like I've got one of those special low comp rods xD

Cylinder pressures way to high bro

no more street tuning and definately time for correct dyno tuning otherwise its going to be a rince and repeat situation with the bum”o”dyno

Yep no doubt they were at some stage. Probably on a gear change when it boost spiked and had too much timing in it.

I will be fitting better rods and head studs when it goes back together so there shouldn't be a repeat.

I'll bring it down when it's back together to check the wot tune cos it's a bit dodgy on the street now with traction.

Got the new tailshaft in. Really happy with the quality, fit and lack of nvh.Driveline feels alot more solid now.

Will get a better pic once it's on the hoist but here's one for now.

Not today but a few days ago. My car had developed a metallic exhaust rattle a few weeks ago.

It turned out to be the badge on the dump pipe had broken a couple of welds and was "flapping" at 25hz or so. I ripped it off and problem solved.

I also noticed that most of the outer tack welds on the dump for the 5 bolt flange are cracked and a crack is starting to develop on the inside  at the bottom as well. Perfect time to buy a tig welder?!
