Not like the utes that practical anyway. Well I raised the front a little so it doesn't scrape too much yesterday so maybe slightly more practical than last week lol. Should have the zorst sorted out next Saturday and the tailshaft sometime between now and then. Then it's off to CMS for a proper tune and maybe a set of cams. Expand Want cams? Install a Haltech and Ghost cam the sh*t out of it... Probably on a gear change when it boost spiked and had too much timing in it. I will be fitting better rods and head studs when it goes back together so there shouldn't be a repeat. I'll bring it down when it's back together to check the wot tune cos it's a bit dodgy on the street now with traction. Will get a better pic once it's on the hoist but here's one for now. 3 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/80918-what-did-you-do-to-your-car-today/page/881/#findComment-1646934 Share on other sites

My car had developed a metallic exhaust rattle a few weeks ago. It turned out to be the badge on the dump pipe had broken a couple of welds and was "flapping" at 25hz or so. I ripped it off and problem solved. I also noticed that most of the outer tack welds on the dump for the 5 bolt flange are cracked and a crack is starting to develop on the inside at the bottom as well. Perfect time to buy a tig welder?! 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/80918-what-did-you-do-to-your-car-today/page/881/#findComment-1646955 Share on other sites
