Didnt realise the new radiator was so much thicker than the old one.
Didnt check fan clearance.. first drive the fan cut straight through the upper radiator hose.
So I parked my car on the side of the road for a day

Didnt you use the STD fans. I have 50mm rad and no issues Bolted straight in.

it's a WRX, not a falcon, by the way.

Do WRX run a HQ style chrome fan blade set up similar to cars from the 80's and 90's. ??:wwww:

They do have similar interiors to a VK commo. So maybe....

Ok so with racewars coming up soon, it was time to make sure both cars were up to 1000m and up to 25 seconds flat out. A call to Nizpro suggested there intank set up from the mid 2000s may be borderline. So there system with in tank foam was removed. I should state that this setup will support high power and even track and drag work. BUT 25 seconds is a long time to be full throttle!!!!

So this car will eventually be tuned on E85 so an intank swirl pot with walbro 460 was installed.

Nothing else was changed from the last tune in 2012 except some mid range and cruise fueling due to the increased pressure of the 460 over the 044.

Boost and timing remained the same and this car has the factory F6 turbo. Last dyno run on a mainline (roller dyno) was just over 400rwkw

This result 400rwkw on 15psi at 5700rpm. Car was ramped up slowly to monitor fuel pressure.

Car uses 98 fuel and has only been tuned on 98 , but will soon run E85.

This engine has  limited  boost and timing as the engine was built for race fuel and has 10 to 1 compression. But a change to E85 withe just fuel mods with see over 500rwkw on factory turbo

Look my dyno graph has RPM, because what the hell does axle speed mean??????
