Was rained out of work by mid day so I pulled the exhaust off section at a time just to see how loud it was. Ive decided straight side pipes will be waaay too loud.

I'm thinking remove the rear section, bring it up under the tray & dump on both sides just under the tail lights.

 

Also found the diff breather hose was broken while I was under there

It's going to be farkin' loud that way, too, just for everybody else and not so much for you in the cabin (compared to straight side pipes) :spoton:

Haha, will do! Bought a welder the other week and some pipe for something to practice on. It'll probably make any welder cry to look at it but it'll be hidden.

I was just considering side pipes today. Going to have the tub off in a few weeks so I'll have to see just how loud it'll be. Was tossing up the idea of a 4" stainless tip

Its 'no copper would ever let you go' sorta loud. There probably is room to put a muffler in there right behind the cab, but because of the gear I've got mounted in that area it wont fit for me.
