Stupid car battery was dead last night (over the last few weeks noticed it was struggling to turn over). Of course Murphys Law I was about to go out and shes dead. Supercrap was the only one open so got a century 620cca. Put her in and here's a pic just cause.

Now it was all sweet for about 10mins then the car randomly stalled at a stop sign on a slight incline? I notice the revs sometimes dips I.e. when coming to a stop suddenly.

Is my zf or something relearning the way I drive? Anyone else have their car stall after new battery?

First Ford iv owned, first black (silhouette) car iv owned.

"once you go black, you will think it looks mint, until an hour later when a fine layer of dust, or pollen, or it rains, or a bird sneezes in Africa and it looks dull and dirty again.... And you realise why people go back"

I'm feeling super sorry for whoever tunes your car when it happens

Why? Car stalled....never done it before? Any battery I've ever changed has never done it either? I know not same/same but genuinely interested why it did it...

And mattyp it wont let me quote in this edit but is century a bad brand? Its brand new with 3yr warranty so cant be terrible? Or can it...

Yeh I was in a rush last night and forgot to buy a terminal brush...so I only wiped the insides with a cloth. Maybe that was it....

And yeh the superchump upsold some weird glue stuff to stop the terminals getting "white gunk" (you can see the ohmo fabric ring things in the pic).

I'll go buy that brush and do it again. It hasnt stalled since, but could be other unrelated issue. Cheers
