all pretty simple on my BA's except the "h-bracket" that mounts the turbo to the engine block... there's one bolt that's easy to get to and one that's a farkin nightmare with the turbo in position ;) (not counting the lower turbo bolt that always comes loose :P - need the right tools for that one), but fark it, take the whole manifold and dump off to get the turbo off the manifold

Yeah, well, not often you take off the manifold and just leave the turbo sitting there, I guess :) all the manifold bolts themselves are simple enough, as I meant when I said "all pretty simple on my BA's"

I love how I got credit when I really didn't give you any useful info beyond ... what Luke suggested about starting from the centre!

You wouldn't be the first person on here to take credit for Luke's advice, but yours is accidental

If I can point out that something I'm advising I got from Mr Wiggum advising me, I do, because then you can be far more certain of its accuracy!

Spent the whole weekend giving the car a much needed detail as it had quite a few swirl marks and hazing present. This was my first time but it turned out pretty good. I believe with some more practice and confidence I will get an even better result. Washed, clay bar, polished and waxed using Meguiar's products only. Used a DA polisher to get rid of the imperfections. Had to remove the stripes to do the entire area so most of you will be happy about that, in fact I agree now that it does look better plain black. Now I just need to follow up with proper wash technique every time. Video was taken after being driven around already but you can't tell. It's just a little bit shiny now.
