The plug connector had melted and shorted out. I ended up just cutting it off and rewiring it. Just coz it doesn't look super pretty doesn't mean it doesn't work. He also makes quick spool valves after doing lots of testing with spool plates and seeing 1000rpm faster spool up on the same turbo without out loosing top end power.
