It may not be as effective as you think. Make sure you use the correct procedure for tightening and loctiting the flywheel bolts...

Wow... That really sucks. How much power was that car making arronm? And what was the benefit of using hollow dowel pins instead of solid??

You would have to ask nizpro that, but as they are internally threaded easy to remove. How do you intend to get yours out if needed. You do realize they need to be an interference fit..

Yes we did take all that into consideration. Once you remove the flywheel you will have enough dowel pin exposed to pull them out if needed. Hollow dowel pins wouldn't be my first choice in this situation. Shear stress is measured from force and cross sectional area. Obviously the hollow pins will have less cross sectional area which results in higher shear stress. The dowel pins we used are solid diam 10 precision machined, heat treated din6325 standard with a m6 tolerance. We used an imperial drill size 25/64 which is 9.92mm. The dowel pins are 10.006mm - 10.015mm

I starting to understand why the nizpro car doesn't get driven much.

Flywheel bolts procedure? Other than heat resistant loctite and tightening the bolts in the correct order slowly, what procedure is there?
