Cause forged engine? I notice a few of the WA boys go the lower numbers too (Arron and Steve IIRC?). I thought fraud was 15k.This interval is 8kI usually do it every 7.5 but I was lazyNot sure if its just my fraud or all of them....but being the 'turbo' it was suggested 10,000kms (or maybe that was my aftermarket warranty?). Either way....now that I'm a little closer to the city and stuff....hopefully I can keep my kms down to 5000-7500 every 6 months and get services at the "correct" intervals lol Mines still stock BTW....but doesn't really mean jack as most people will still say I'm crazy for only servicing every 10k kms Edited 06/07/15 06:34 AM by PTR_NITRO_FG

I wouldn't rush out and drop 5w30 in unless you have a reason to. Im running a built motor don't forget.*I actually run a blend of two GW oils now. A 10w40 and 5w30. Give me the best mix between stable oil pressure in 40*+ and minimal noise as the forgies warm up.I based my ratio on a target kinematic viscosity when cold and hot so took a couple of goes to get correct. I once tried 5w50 full syn in my supercharged AU back in 2000 and dropped the oil out after 20mins driving around Sydney to put my Penrite 15w40 back in! I was showing also as it was expensive back then...

That I had tried anyway. Windsor and Barra are apples and oranges though....
