Some will like,some won't.

Wheeled and dealed a bit and picked up some ba gtp wheels dirt cheap. Have been wanting to try 18's over 19's for a while. Fronts have near new dunlop sp3000's and have just fitted up a set of re003s to the rear.

Improvement in ride quality over the 19's is insane. Just need to see if I can offset the change from 275 to 245 with a higher quality tyre.

The wife's FGXR6T is stock suspension with stock 19s

My BA F6 has lowered pedders springs and stock 18s

There's a huge difference in ride quality!

I just find being in the wife's FG really irritating.

There's no way I would put 19s on my car.

LOL @ comparing pedders suspension to stock suspension

19's don't compromise ride quality very much, if at all, if you maintain a similar size of tyre width and sidewall :)

20's push it, due to the limited choices of decent sidewall sizes. :)

So you're saying pedders springs are softer than standard springs???

I'm just saying you can't compare pedders springs/shocks to stock springs/shocks unless they have the exact same ratings/specifications.

I'm just saying that even though the pedders car has what I would assume are stiffer springs and 18s, it has a MUCH better ride quality than the standard with 19s.

I'm also just saying that I agree 100% with Ralph.

And what I'm really trying to say is 19s a totally Sh!t when it comes to ride quality!

LOL LOL LOL LOL NOT!!!!!!

I concur captain.

Kieth,Can't agree with your comments re 18v19 ride quality. Massive difference thus far.

But i am comparing a 35 front and 30 rear to 40 profile all round.

I'll spare you the purple rims, they were too much even for me.
