Anybody have any tips or recommendations ?I know nothing about sedans - only dealt with utes and wagons. But I've found with the front bearing hubs that the Ford ones last longer than the aftermarket stuff.Do some searching on eBay and you'll find listings on there. Find the part number, and then do a search for that. One of the cheaper options is from Jefferson Ford, which is in Melbourne somewhere (ie your info says that you're in Melbourne). Did you use.I used auto glym super resin polish with the hand applicator pads (fabric ones seem to work better than the sponge ones). Great stuff! Did two coats per panel and three coats on the roof, boot and bonnet. It repels water so well now that even in this sh*t weather that we have been seeing in Melbourne, my car still looks spotless. The paint was already in good condition so I didn't have to use a cutter. But if your paint is feeling a bit 'rough' I highly recommend the meguires fine cutter before the polish. I usually use the mothers wax that comes in the round tin after the polish. But last Sunday I got lazy and went for a drive instead as waxing is another whole day job. A grippier clutch brings the load in sooner and does funny things to the load points.
