Aftermarket indicator covers don't last too long. Stuck a new pair on for another $25, love it

2 stage cut/polish and first cost of Modesta Glass paint protection done today. Not great photos, but the difference it's made already is amazing. Next coat goes on next break and will only add to the gloss. Also decided those SS badges on the sides need to come off, that'll happen next break too.

Dunno about the VF stripey but with almost all Holdens I've seen, take extra special car of the paint and clear on the plastic bits like the spoiler and mirrors.. They seem to go to sh*t the quickest..

Yeah well Dale (OCDetailing) was pretty careful with how much of the clear coat he took off. The Modesta will help a lot too, it's tough stuff and really chemical resistant.

Yeah, it's a good name. I feel sorry for the poor bloke though, got to 39 degrees today and he was stuck in my garage polishing my car. He's been doing my cars for a while now too, so I get decent discounts which is nice.

We took the wheels off and put Modesta on them too, which makes keeping them clean soooo much easier. Getting brake dust off generally just involves spraying them with the high pressure cleaner, maybe a gentle pass with a cloth...that's it. Great stuff! While we had the car jacked up and wheels off was my first proper chance to have a good look underneath the new car, the suspension and diff setup in particular...I'm impressed, is all I'll say.

Cheers JET. The photos don't show the orange peel, which is still there, but the gloss from the polishing and Modesta help hide it better. He would have had to have taken off too much clear to get rid if it completely, apparently at which point if it got a scratch or something then I'd just have to live with it, rather than being and to polish it out. He's Jeff left enough meat on there that I've still got that option.
