I spent a bunch of money on a GiroDisc pad spreader, which is useful occasionally.

Did you miss the link in my second post Phil...?

Im also able to fully retract the pistons with the tool I have. I went with the fabricated version over cast as the rounded edges of the cast tool tend to cause it to pop out when initially spreading the pads on fixed calipers.

Price on leather covers? Are they reupholstered or true slip on? Issues with side air bags?

nice work mate ,now you will just have to keep them looking like new . need a good leather conditioner every two weeks to keep them from going crazed

Autoglym make a leather cleaner and conditioner. Has done a decent job so far but can be a bit greasy if you use too much of the conditioner.
