Don't have any decent pics yet. Will get some on Saturday when I install the filter

Reg/Lines and Control Cable for pump"

I have it arranged a little differently to most surge system as the electronic reg needs zero pressure in the return line otherwise the pressure transducer in the reg will reduce the pump flow.

The basic arrangement is Main Tank Pump->Filter->Surge->Big Pump->Fuel rail->Reg->Return to Main Tank.

Obviously a "normal" surge arrangement returns fuel to the surge. This has the effect of pressurising the surge, so if I run the return from the reg to the surge the reg senses the pressure in the return line and reduces pump flow.

The surge tanks is now less of a surge and more of a booster/accumulator tank. I'm happy with this as a solution as it provides constant fuel flow through the system and give the big pump the buffer it needs.

I will fit the filter on Saturday and then test the pressure in the surge tank, although based purely on the noise the intank pump is making it's happy.

The big pump is near silent at idle but ramps up as soon as It's placed under load (ie banging psi into the top of the reg)

I'm very happy with this as a solution as it quite,E85 compatible, draws little current due to the reduced pump speed under low loads, Doesn't cook the fuel with excess pump flow and is capable of maxing out my injectors and turbo.

you dont have to look far either. I have said this time and time again to luke, that I am one of them as well.

I guess it takes practise to get where Luke is at the moment.

That hoist that he has also makes me VERY VERY Jealous.
