Nothing you can't see just driving innocently around these parts anyway, plenty of pastures.

Well I am definately in for the spline black nuts, not the secret squirel or horse nuts.

I was actually thinking of getting another group buy going for Perth People only.

Maybe you should organize this one XtRmn8?

I don't mind ordering them for local Perth members who want a set as I am in for a set myself.

Any leftover sets will be sold at $990 per set to undercut Ralph Wiggum who is trying to flog a used set for a couple large.

Those X-Brace's (cross-brace's) are so weak at their central weld (I guess you can buy cheap/expensive, though). Also not enough leverage to get decent torque without compromising the weld.

Its not welded due to the fact you can fold it straight. Just 2 straight bars with the sockets on the ends and a bolt setup to allow folding. So its plenty strong enough. Also if you can't get enough torque out of it then your wheel nuts are beyond torqued.

My link for "spline drive" ones (the ones Taleb were attempting to peddle), aaronm's link for standard hex drive ones.

EDIT: Also, aaronm's link they are 19mm head size, the "tool" that comes with the spline drive has an OD of 21mm (the same as the standard OEM wheel nuts).

They are both 19mm AF hex

19mm AF? oxymoron?

Perhaps the folding ones are better. The (probably cheap) solid cross braces suck, that's for sure. I've broken two trying to undo rattle-gun'd wheel nuts. :)

AF means across the flats.

It's commonly used when referring to Imperial sizes to distinguish between UNC/F and Whitworth spanners/sockets.
