Should have thought of it a few years earlier so my old Kenwood unit would support it :/Pretty good news if I ever decide/need to upgrade the deck though. #96 Member 281 Member For: 12y 22d Posted 24/06/13 01:45 PM Share Posted 24/06/13 01:45 PM (edited) so, started this project quite sometie ago, but lost interest when I lost direction with the stereo install, and costings... figured I should at least finish the sub box, as it's had a few hours in it already.so, some 16mm MDF, a bit of oak, and a hot glue gun (had my doubts, but sticks like sh*t, and fibreglass later should take the brunt anyway) and ive got it like this.next up I'll be finalising the shape of the back, then getting the spandex or some other stretchy material to stretch over it and make the shape of the front before 'glassing it again.opinions: painted nitro blue, or carpeted? But all my shudder has gone and near no squeeling anymore. Which is a +
