there should be a new shape hilux out within 18months I reckon, why not wait for that? the current one is still based on a 2005 model.

I bought a Dmax in November and super happy with it.

Have they changed the engines in them or something?

Sorry about the loss of your XR :verysad: Did you get a fair price?

Don't think engine has changed for a few years, just a few more modern extras from 2012 to 2013.

More then happy with the price mate, it's actually 1k more then wat I bought it for 18months ago and rego runs out on the poor fella in a month, mind you I did spend some coin on it but well worth the money lost, had plenty of fun with it.

Got to be happy with that.

Old man has always had tritons and never had any major issues. Currently got a turbo diesel dual cab and tows a fifth wheeler around the country which weighs an absolute farkin sh*tload...it pulls like there's nothing hitched. Much better drive and handling than anything with a toymota badge on it.

That's surprising Tab.. We have no end of problem with the tritons in our work fleet.. But I'm assuming they are given alot harder time than your old mans..

Yeah I'd say so. I think the only issue he had with the current one was the rear diff, fixed under warranty and all is sweet.
