Fg Ute Diff

I just replace my whole rear end under warranty 12 months old FG MKII Turbo Ute travelled only 47000kms it drives so much better now the whine got louder and louder could have had a problem from the start maybe? When I took it to the dealer only drove up the road with the head mechanic for 300 meters he said turn around and go back you need to get that replaced.

Have had rumble from rear on FG XR6 Ute, brought to Pedders, they charged $28 for full driveline report which I thought was great value BUTTT this is where it gets really silly, they said it needed complete rear axle as both sides were bent at a cot of $3,200 and that was using parts from wreckers!!! they were going to do me a great favour and change out the two sides at a cost of $2,200. Cutting a long story short I bought to a place in O'Connor, final drive engineering, dropped the ute in at 8am all finished by 11am, they removed straightened replaced bearings, all up $400, running better than ever, if near Perth give these blokes a go
