f6 looks better but.....do not buy new. Like in HSV land, you get murdered in resale. Not great on a T either, but proportionally you lose less over a few years.

Spend 5k on performance mods a base T and you'll have a pretty good taxi, lol.

If I was going to spend enough to buy a new XR6T I'd buy a second hand FG F6 instead.

Also what is with FGXOD's posts? Looks like he is quoting himself and then replying to it on my screen.

I was in the same position when it came to choosing between the two acouple of years ago.

The way I figured it was that I was going to change most things that differentiated a XRT to an F6 anyway. ie brakes, suspension, wheels,,intercooler etc

I was over body kits after my HSV's..wanted something a little more subdued I guess but still personalized. Hell I don't think I would of gone as far as I have if I hadn't stumbled across this damn website!! lol.. But all in all I'm happy with my choice.. And that what it comes down too. What you personally feel will fulfill your requirements

Either way you really cant go wrong..unless you buy an Bogan special of course !!.

Oh.. I must add.. the difference in insurance premiums

Cheers

XR6T is more responsive and a better all-round daily drive in my honest opinion...but the F6 is something pretty bloody special and a great toy.

F6 is also more of a fckwit magnet, you will get every bogan in his 'chev' trying to take you on.

On the subject of bogan's taking you on, I had a 3-series wanting to drag me off the lights last night. I didn't connect the revving engine until he burst off the line while I meandered on my merry way, lol.

I don't mind the Bogan special . They just go rubbish in comparison and apparently still have piston slap issues. Farrrk that. Interior and seating position is better. But again, farrrk that

I won't be doing modifications. Been through that with the skyline. I'm buying this and keeping warranty in tact.

Lads, is the backlash in the manual significant? To be honest I didn't notice it, but it all honestly it was a fairly short test drive.

Has anything been done in the mk11 relating to backlash issues in the manual.
