lowering = bad for launching, stock soft suspension = good for launching

Leave the rear springs std and fit a pair of Koni rear shocks - wind them up to hard when you go to the drags (it only adjusts the rebound) and the car will squat for longer as you come off the line

But aside from that, Veva is on the money with the M/Ts

I know that sometimes you can't have the best of both worlds e.g good traction and lowered so it looks good, but say you were to lower it would traction on an fg xr6t with 350rwk be alot worse than wat it is anyway? Just saying I love getting traction but I would love the car too look lower as well , and with the m/ts on the track will it make that much difference?? And what about everyday driving will I be all over the road and getting taken at the lights by lesser cars? Cos if I hav to choose one I would pick having traction but would ideally love both ;-)

Dump it to the ground and go race it with street tyres, and then you can see for yourself.

Lower the car one inch and then run the Mickey Thompsons at the strip, it won't hurt it that much but it won't be as good as standard height.
