I'm going to be putting a Barra into a Patrol as an upcomming project and just need to know if the stock XR6T flywheel (BA/BF) is solid or dual-mass? (Also, what do the N/A & E-gas have?)

Does anyone know what they are selling for, new & used?, genuine & non genuine?

Also does anyone know the diameter and the lining width of the N/A /E-gas/ Turbo stock clutch plates?

Thanks

All the Ford 6 cylinder wheels are solid, not dual mass.

The BA Mk1 6 cylinder had a 2 piece flywheel. It had an automatic flex plate, with a cast iron drive plate bolted to it. Nice and light!! :D

They are 100000000% not a dual mass flywheel! I'll bet anything on it! Dual mass flywheels are normally fitted to diesel and GM V6 engines to take the harshness out of a rough idle.

Not dual mass! But like I said before of a two piece construction.

Dual mass flywheels have harshness and shock obsorbers hidden between the two flywheel sections.

Defianately none of those in there

Although I'd defianately recommend a billet steel flywheel. So glad mine is after I had some dramas!
