Hey guys !! I've got myself a ba mk2 xr6t ute and it's got a cat back system on it ... Fairly sure it's a 2.5 inch system ... Now I'm going to be aiming for around 400hp down the track ... Would I be able to utilize this system it has on it already an just add a dump pipe and cat combo or should I completely forget It and go bigger and better ?

Also if I was to keep the cat back system that's on it now if I added a new dump and cat what would be the best to run ? Split dump or 3.5 inch or 4 inch ? Thanks in advance ;)

is it a 2.5 system or twin 2.5 system.

twin 2.5 will be plenty, or 3.5 single. single 2.5 is smaller than stock.

a big dump is good for power, I run a split as they reckon in helps eliminate back pressure.

a good flowing cat is a must.

It's a single 2.5 cat back system..buggers me why he put it in ... I think I might just do a full turbo back system ... Would a single 3.5 inch system and 4" dump be enough and not restrict it ? And a good cat of course

yep will be fine. 3.5 dump would also be fine for the power you are chasing. a word of advice though. go as big as you can with all mods, as the bug will prol bite and the power you have will never be enough. then you wont have to spend money upgrading later on.

also is it an auto or manual? if manual 6 speed being a mk 2?

In your sig it says u got 360kw unopened ba ... Do u have stock valve springs?
