Gentech isn't cheap labour costs (from what I've been quoted) but he ran a full di fillipo exhaust which is a fair bit of coin there on its own.

None the less still a great result! Would love to check it out when I'm back in Canberra! Got a dyno sheet to put up?

I'll get the dyno sheet up tomorrow when im at work :) my scanner at home shat itself a few weeks ago,

I'll put up the receipt and pricing as well if I can decipher them.

Didnt end up doing any turbo mods, im running 12psi at the moment as well.

A cool thing though (which I need to clarify with them because I think my understanding is wrong)

The xcal 3 has 3 tunes which they set up for me

1: 12psi

2: 10psi

3: Valet tune. From what I understand this is a tune for no boost (part I dont understand is if this is no boost at all or just stock boost...) I'll ask them when I get the xcal back (they didnt name them right so I told them keep it and I'll pick it back up on Monday arvo)

yeah xcal has 3 tunes, which you can change yourself. I have a 98ron tune, an e85 tune with a heap more timing and a valet.

when im out of e85, I just plug the xcal in and load in the ron tune and off I go...

why dont you try e85?

I honestly have no idea what e85 is to be honest.

The people at gentech recommended 98 so im going to look for somewhere that sells 98 this week. I normally just use 95

man e85 is the ethanol blend, has a higher octane rating, burns cooler and can SMASH MY DATE, power comes on harder and earlier and your car will smell like vodka score! We don't get e85 in Canberra but we do have eflex which is about e72-77 ish, ppl still get awesome results on it. I'm hoping to go the eflex when I mod next year.

So far only two places in Canberra do eflex, the caltex at gold creek and one in tuggers, there's a couple of uniteds (that usually do the e85) but they haven't brought the e85 down yet. Oh and it's cheaper per litre but burns more so costs more with the boot in but can be leaned out so cruising can be cheaper.

Do it! :)

Zf tune is the gearbox tune mate, they adjust shift points and get the box to shift firmer and quicker. I haven't done this yet but my mate has. Makes quite a difference.

With the Xcal mate from my understanding the valet tune doesn't let the car rev past 3000rpm, so say you drop it off to somewhere where you don't quite know orr trust that they won't thrash your car, you can put the valet tune in and they cannot rev the car past 3000rpm.

Any Caltex or she'll servo will sell 98 mate.
