As far as I know it was just a software update, there was never anything physical changed other than the bluetooth module...but that's all working so can't be that.

Initially it only supported a very small list of iPods, the classics and the nanos I think it was, but over time the software was revised to support just about all of them...iPhones included.

I hope its as simple as an update :D I work long hours, so not having the car to get to and from work really sucks :/

On another note. I photoshopped the Vertini Sicilians onto the car... so keen now >.<

Just a dodgy 10 minute job, but turned out pretty good :) I'll get a better pic and edit later :)

love the planned mods. bonnet bulge looks fap worthy on a g6e.

photoshop looks sik, but youve shopped 24's on there! 20s will look different....

Just a word of warning. Lowering your car will void the warranty at least it does with my dealership. Maybe others won't but pretty sure any changes can make your life difficult. Also did you say above that you had a 10 year warranty. How does that work? Nice wheel choice as well. Have fun cleaning them.

im confused a 10 year warranty? on an 08 fg? just check that cause doesnt extented warranty only stay with the original owner?

and lowering your car will void all driveline warranty. not mechanical eg engine, turbo etc.

Doesn't matter what it is if you ask me, they'll try their hardest to get out of repairing/replacing for free lol

Yea I went with an optional 10 year warranty from the dealer. It was a promotion they had running. Got it for like $1000.

The wheels look sexy :D I had similar wheels on my last car, do I know how much he'll they are to clean haha. I'll get a picture of my old car and show ya's. I would have kept it of it was turbo...

And yea I've noticed they'll try rip you out of everything :/ they reckon if there's something wrong with the icc for the iPhone that I have to pay for it -_-

BS tell them its meant to work from factory and its not. Its failing what its meant to do and it should be covered under warranty. You're a fool if you pay a cent..

They say otherwise tell them, no worries..I'll give ford a call and complain.

Maybe even try another dealer and see what they say..

Shy, if it's an 08 model, it's not covered under Factory Warranty anymore. The extra warranty is more than likely a dealer warranty specific to that dealer. Unfortunately, you'll have to stick with the original dealer of that's the case.

Well my dad knows one of the owners of Ford on the other side of town, so I might go see them of these guys want to charge me. Because I was assured it had iPhone connectivity, and that everything worked. But I think I should also have a 3 month grace period for anything wrong with it from what I understood from the dealer. I think the guys just trying to charge me because im young and they think they can get away with it.
