bjc Donating Members 2,823 Member For: 21y 2m 18d Gender: Male Location: Townsville Posted 29/06/12 03:59 AM Share Posted 29/06/12 03:59 AM Biggest problem is cost and capa made a kit for our xr6t's years ago which never took off as it is just so much easier to fit an air to air plus they are just as effective in everyday driving unfortunately!I had a water to air kit fitted on my vortech supercharged ba xr8 back in 2004 and the kit worked extremely well and in my case I'd say better than an air to air but this was because vortechs build more boost with rpm so the actual heat that needed to be processed was way less than any turbo or PD supercharger.They both have there place though and with plenty of thought and money either will work just as good depending on the circumstances...Dry ice cooler on an xr6t drag car!
